DRUMBEATS
I should be used to the rains by now
The heavy clouds that dim my light
I hear the lullabies singin loud
With beating drums
Remind me of your love
With every beat of your heart that my heart hears
I see rainbows and i know that you’re near
Every song the wind sings, all of my fears
Float away
Remind me …
With the love that you taught me
This love really brought me
To the skies - where you'll wait for me
Let’s listen to the drumbeats of our hearts
Singing a symphony
I must have seen a thousand sunrise
And have felt it warm my heart
I know beyond goodbyes
Where water kisses the skies
And there I see your smile
Oh, the love that you taught me
This love really brought me
To the skies - where you'll wait for me
Let’s listen to the drumbeats Of our hearts
Singing a symphony
(Bridge)
Every little thump
My heart sings the same beat too
And with every rumbling
Somehow you’re singing
A sound that leads me to you
With every beat of your heart that my heart hears
With every laughter, I know that you’re near...
The day will come you and I will be singing (dancing)
On our own melody..
Note: This song is written for my Baby Rye who was born on 19 March 2023 and left us after an hour and 39 minutes. The one hour and 39 minutes she was with us has taught us faith, love, surrender, trust, and acceptance of grace. I dedicate this song/poem for Bjorn too, who is playing in the stars with Rye. I look forward to being with them when my time comes too.
Analuna has arranged and composed the melody for this song.
